Emotion is a strong motivator and that is the concept that Double Fine showed off for a select group in a demonstration of a prototype that would use the Kinect to inject emotion into the game via hand gestures and acting. The idea is that you would not be a playable character, but an artifact that has the ability to project certain attributes towards those objects and people around you, forcing them to interact.
