Windows 7 Phone and Kinect

There is a very interesting video circulating on the net today about the advent of using the Windows 7 phone as a controller on the Kinect. It features a guy playing a game in which he has to stop balls from getting past him. But instead of the computer deciding when and how to send the balls out, it’s the lady on the couch with her phone that’s doing it via an app. Later on, another woman with the same phone also starts sending spheres his way until the guy is overwhelmed and falls back on the couch, much to their enjoyment. Microsoft assures the public that this is not just a fun fake, but actual game play that they are working at the labs of Redmond and that they hope to release the technology in the near future, but declined to say when such applications would appear on the consumer market.
